hola dude thanx for the forum reply had a look on ebay and with a bit of savin I can in the UK section of ebay get both the camers I was looking at and thats the F80 with a lens

Which lens ... you should get the camera alone or with the 50 1.8D (one of there best lens and one of the cheapest) if you can get the camera alone, you could buy the 50mm new, it's almost the same price when it's used. Another great lens more expensive but worth the money: AF-s 24-85.

probably just the cheapy lens that you get in the Nikon camera kits or if I go body only I MIGHT be able to get something along the lines of a Sigma/Tamron 28-200 or smaller

get the 50mm much much better lens and then latter you get a good zoom ... that way you won't regret anything.
